Ryan Oliver




Ryan Oliver has 10 years of experience in operations management/continuous improvement with progressive experience in manufacturing. Ryan has worked for a diverse number of fields developing and improving organizational systems including manufacturing, transportation/logistics, multi-media, medical and energy.

Prior to TMAC Ryan worked at the University of Texas at Arlington where he received his Masters and Bachelors degrees in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Systems. He worked on a multi-disciplinary team to bring research technology to commercialization. The flagship project developed a manufacturing process and improved the product design of Biofuels reactors using Microfluidics. This work has continued at TMAC through a close relationship with the University.

Ryan’s research interests include lean for non-profits, financial engineering, automation and control systems, rapid prototyping, micro manufacturing and stochastic processes.

He has worked on projects for small and large companies including Coca-Cola, DFW Airport, American Airlines and General Motors as an Industrial Engineer. He operated a start up for 7 years and has a deep understanding of what it takes to move from concept to reality as well as how to improve existing products and systems. At TMAC, he is a member of the Process Automation group as a Research Engineering.
