Kimberley Jardine was promoted to Director of the Small Business Development Center for Enterprise Excellence in 2009. Her passion is developing business cultures in which “people” thrive. Kimberley conceptualized the fresh focus of our center in early 2009 by introducing the concept of Profit, People, Planet and a balanced Triple Bottom Line in the pursuit of Business Sustainability. She offers a wealth of management experience and entrepreneurial success to our center. Her enthusiasm drives the “high touch” orientation of the center and her optimism inspires achievement even amidst troubling economic times.
Kimberley spent years absorbing and developing management and operations best practices within companies like The Limited Inc and Williams-Sonoma Inc. She also spent several years with Bank of America as a personal banker and was later recruited as a manager by the smaller, more personalized service team at Cascade Bank. After working closely with her business banking clients, she became inspired to be an entrepreneur and moved on to own her own thriving retail business. Kimberley understands the application of “big business thinking” within a small business environment.
Kimberley spent four years diversifying her world view and background by living in the UK, Germany and South Africa with her family. She became a Cambridge Certified language instructor and taught English. Cambridge methodology provides Kimberley the skills necessary to evaluate and develop adult learning programs.
Kimberley earned her BS in Journalism with an Industrial-Business Communications Concentration at Oregon State University.
