Roger Flores is a Government Procurement Counselor for the Cross Timbers Procurement Center at the UTA Fort Worth Riverbend Campus.
Roger has more than 52 years of experience with the federal government including a 17 years with the Cross Timbers Procurement Center. Roger was the Program Manager of Cross Timbers until his retirement. Now he is a permanent half-time counselor.
Prior to joining Cross Timbers, Roger worked for the Federal government as a Computer Operator, as an Internal Auditor in the Office of Finance and Systems Department of the Defense Contract Management Area Region (Dallas, Texas) and a Small Business Specialist. Roger was also in the U.S. Air Force. His duty stations were Fairchild AFB (Spokane, Washington), HQs 8th Air Force (London, England) and Weisbaden AFB (Weisbaden, Germany).
Roger has a Business Administration degree with a Major in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington. He is originally from Brownsville, Texas and is a graduate of Brownsville High School.
