Elizabeth R. Beck has been with the University of Texas at Arlington close to 2 years, currently as an Administrative Assistant for the Cross Timbers Procurement Center and previously as Event Coordinator Assistant for TMAC.
Prior to joining UT Arlington, Elizabeth worked in management and community affairs for Planned Parenthood of West Texas. Elizabeth coordinated community outreach events such as breast cancer screening during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and “REAL LIFE REAL TALK,” a juvenile education summer program.
Originally from West Texas, Elizabeth lived in Odessa, TX most of her life until moving to the DFW area in the summer of 2006. In Odessa, Elizabeth and her family volunteered their time in worthwhile organizations and functions such as: providing hot meals for the elderly, disabled, and home bound through “Meals on Wheels;” promoting public awareness for litter prevention, beautification, natural resource conservation & cleanup with “Keep Odessa Beautiful;” and participation in the annual Thanksgiving lunch at the local Salvation Army. Since moving. Elizabeth has continued her family tradition by volunteering at the Salvation Army Thanksgiving lunch in Arlington, TX.
Elizabeth attended Odessa College before transferring to Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. She is currently in the process of completing a Bachelor in Accounting at the University of Texas at Arlington.
